About

Alannah Parkin Art brings together illustrated alphabet art, delicate floral collection and pet portraits, creating decorative art that feels joyful, personal and timeless.

My love of art began when I was young, sitting in my mother’s studio and watching her paint. That early spark lead me to study art and art history, and later to share that joy as a teacher, helping children discover their own creativity.

I’m a wife and busy mum of three living in Wiltshire, sharing life with a Labrador, fourteen chickens, and three rabbits. As much as I adore the happy chaos of our home, being able to draw, paint, and experiment is my tonic — my reset button — and my favourite way to bring a little more colour into life’s busy mix.

After choosing a slower pace, living in the country and moving away from teaching, I’ve returned to art with renewed energy. These days, I spend my time creating original pieces and prints, as well as working on bespoke commissions that allow me to bring someone’s story to life.

Art is connection. It’s storytelling. It’s that quiet spark of delight when something on the wall makes you pause and smile. Thank you for being here — I hope my work brings that same sense of joy and colour into your home.
